When in Independent Operation, can the system be reset both inflight and on the ground?

What happens when an FMGC fails completely?
- the system automatically goes into single mode operation
- Info from remaining FMGC is sent to both pilot displays and MCDU’s
What message appears in the scratchpad on the failed side when a single FMGC fails completely?
OPP FMGC IN PROGRESS
When a single FMGC fails completely, what must the pilot on the failed side do to receive nav data on their screen?
Set their range mode distance to match other pilot
When a single FMGC fails completely, can both MCDU’s be used to insert data into the operative FMCG?
Yes
If both FMGC’s fail what mode does the FMGS downgrade to?
Back up Nav mode
