Examination
A
Wheeze, cyanosis, wake up at night, purulent cough, chest tightness.
Cold, exercise, smoking, allergies.
Meds NSAID and B-blocker
Hyper-inflated chest, absent crepitations, and wheeze

Investigation
A
Spirometry with reversible salbutamol.
FEV1/FVC ratio for
Peak flow to get a baseline.
Fe nitric ocide level of 35ppb and above is asthma.

Management
A
1st - Inhaled beta agonist salbutamol
2nd - Preventer inhaled corticosteroid,
3rd - Long acting salmeterol.
4rd - Oral steroid, increase dosage etc…
