Q

What makes ant. spinothalmaic tract different from lateral spino thalamic tract?

A

Most fibers decussate in ant. white commisure

fibers from ant. spinothalamic tract: some go to reticular formation (spinoreticular fibers) and then diffuse thalamic nuclei where as some fibers go to periaquaductal gray (spinotectal fibers)

16
Q

what does arachispinothalamic tract / propriospinal tract do?

A

protopathic pain and crude touch

Same as ant. spinothalamic tract

17
Q

What makes arachispinothalamic tract different from lateral and anterior spinthalamic tracts?

A

some fibers cross and some don’t in propriospinal tract

Then it goes to VPL, but also to reticular formation, periaqeuductal gray, hypothalamus

18
Q

Where does arachispinothalamic tract end?

A

post central gyrus

19
Q

Where does arachispinothalamic tract deucussate?

A

propriospinal tract

20
Q

Does trigeminothalamic tract deucssate?

21
Q

where to lateral and anterior spinothalamic tracts decussate?

A

ant. white commissure

22
Q

What kinds of fibers associated with dorsal white column pathway?

A

A beta fibers

23
Q

Where is fassiculus cuneatus?

24
Q

where does dorsal white column pathway ducussate?

A

internal arccuate fibers

25
What receptors start both post and ant spinocerebellar tracts?

A beta fibers
27
Does post spinocerebellar tract cross?

28
does ant spinocerebellar tract cross?
yes, twice in ant spinocerebellar tract and in sup cerebellar peduncle
29

inf cerebellar peduncle
30
what cerebellar peduncle does ant spinocerebellar pathway pass through?
sup cerebellar peduncle
31
where does both spinocerebellar pathways end?
cerebellar cortex
32
Where does cerebello thalamic cortico pathway cross?
sup cerebellar peducnle
33
where does cortico-ponto cerebellar pathway cross?
pontine nuclei
34
which two pathways are basically inverse of eachother?
cerebellothalamiccortico pathway and cortiocopontocerebellar pathway
