A: pronation (PM), flexion of elbow

O: medial epicondyle
I: pisioform, proximal end of 5th MC bone, hamate via psi-hamate ligament
A: flexion of wrist and elbow, ulnar deviation (PM)
N: ulnar
Palmaris longus
O: meidal epicondyle
I: palmar aponeurosis
A: weak flexor of wrist and elbow
N: median
Flexor digitorum profundus
O: anterior surface of ulna
I: base of the distal phalanges of medial 4 fingers
A: wrist flexion (PM), MCP, PIP and DIP flexion
N: medial fibers = ulnar, lateral fibers = median
Flexor digitorum superficialis
O: medial epicondyle, anterior surface of radius, sometimes anterior surface of ulna
I: either side of middle phalanges of medial 4 fingers
A: help in flexion of wrist and elbow. MCP and PIP flexion
N: median

A: flexion of thumb (PM)
