Nerve- musculucutaneous
Artery- brachial
Biceps brachii
O- supraglenoid tubercle(long head), coracoid process(short head)
I- by tendon to radial tuberosity and bicipital aponeurosis to fascia
N- musculocutaneous
A- flexion of elbow and supination of flexed elbow
Brachialis
O- lower half of humerus
I- coronoid process of ulna and ulnar tuberosity
N- musculocutaneous , lateral fibers receive fibers from radial nerve
A- main flexor of elbow
Coracobrachialis
O- coracoid process
I- middle of medial border of humerus
N- musculocutaneous
A- flexion of shoulder joint
Musculocutaneous nerve
O- lateral chord of BP
Termination - lateral cutaneous nerve of forearm
Landmarks- pierces Coracobrachialis, passes between biceps and Brachialis
Roots- C5,6,7
Triceps muscle
Long head- arises from infraglenoid tubercle of scapula
Lateral head- posterior surface of humerus above spiral groove
Medial head- posterior surface of humerus, below spiral groove
Insertion- olecranon process of ulna
Nerve- radial nerve
Action- extension of elbow joint
