Levels of organization

  1. Chapters: 51 states + DC
  2. Districts: local segments of chapters, membership is automatic based on geographic
  3. Sections: similar interests, 18
  4. Special Interest Groups: part of sections
  5. Assemblies: PTA caucus and Student assembly
  6. House of delegates: policy makers, elected
  7. Board of directors: 15 members, carries out and communicates decisions and mandates of HoD
