They usually walk around, they want to buy something or they just want to gather some information
What is greeting approach
When a customer enters the shop, the staff will greet the customer like “ good morning/ afternoon/ evening ma’am or sir ‘
What is service approach
It is when the staff offers their services when the customer is walking around like ‘ how may I help you ‘ or ‘ do you need any help ‘
What is product approach
Salespeople can help customers by a product instead of being interested in it. Like for example a customer is looking at a collection and your shop is having a sale you can say “ we are currently having a promotion on this collection “
