A

Jacob (1887)
Procedure: Participants were given a list of numbers and letters. The length of the lists was increased until participants were unable to recall the numbers in the correct order.
Findings: Found that participants could recall on average 9 numbers and 7 letters.

Bahrick (1975)
Procedure: 17-74-year-olds were shown photos containing some ex-school friends and asked to identify the photos.
Findings: After 15 years recall was 90%, after 48 years recall was 70%.
