-dorsal is on the top of the paw
-palmer is on the palm of the paw
distal vs proximal
-distal further form the mass of the body
-proximal closer to the mass of the body
medial vs lateral
-medial inside of leg
-lateral outside of the leg
rostral vs caudal
-rostral closer to the nose
-caudal further from the nose
axial vs abaxial
Axial – directed toward the longitudinal central axis of a limb. Abaxial – directed away from the longitudinal central axis of a limb.
