ٱلنَّاس

قُل أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاس

Say, ‘‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

Dis, « Je cherche protection auprès du Seigneur des hommes,

مَلِكِ

Answer 6

(the) King

Question 7

ٱلنَّاس

Answer 7

(of) mankind

Question 8

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاس

Answer 8

The Sovereign of mankind,

Le Souverain des hommes,

Question 9

إِلَٰهِ

Answer 9

(the) God

Question 10

ٱلنَّاس

Answer 10

(of) mankind

Question 11

إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاس

Answer 11

The God of mankind,

Dieu des hommes,

مِن

شَرِّ

(the) evil

Question 14

ٱلوَسوَاسِ

Answer 14

(of) the whisperer

Question 15

ٱلخَنَّاس

Answer 15

the one who withdraws

Question 16

مِن شَرِّ ٱلوَسوَاسِ ٱلخَنَّاس

Answer 16

From the evil of the retreating whisperer,

Contre le mal du mauvais conseiller, furtif,

Question 17

ٱلَّذِى

the one who

يُوَسوِسُ

whispers

فىِ

صُدُورِ

(the) breasts

Question 21

ٱلنَّاس

Answer 21

(of) mankind

Question 22

ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فىِ صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاس

Answer 22

Who whispers (evil) into the breasts of mankind,

Qui souffle le mal dans les poitrines des hommes,

Question 23

مِنَ

ٱلجِنَّةِ

Answer 24

the jinn

Question 25

وَٱلنَّاس

Answer 25

and men

Question 26

مِنَ ٱلجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاس

Answer 26

From among the jinn and mankind.’’

Qu’il (le conseiller) soit un djinn, ou un être humain. »
