i seek refuge

بِرَبِّ

in (the) Lord

Question 4

ٱلفَلَق

Answer 4

(of) the dawn

Question 5

قُل أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلفَلَق

Answer 5

Say, ‘‘I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

Dis, « Je cherche protection auprès du Seigneur de l’aube naissante,

Question 6

مِن

Answer 6

from

Question 7

شَرِّ

Answer 7

(the) evil

Question 8

مَا

Answer 8

(of) what

Question 9

خَلَق

Answer 9

he created

Question 10

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَق

Answer 10

From the evil of that which He created

Contre le mal des êtres qu’Il a créés,

Question 11

وَمِن

Answer 11

and from

Question 12

شَرِّ

Answer 12

(the) evil

Question 13

غَاسِقٍ

Answer 13

(of) darkness

Question 14

إِذَا

Answer 14

when

Question 15

وَقَب

Answer 15

it settles

Question 16

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَب

Answer 16

And from the evil of darkness when it settles

Contre le mal de l’obscurité quand elle s’approfondit,

Question 17

وَمِن

Answer 17

and from

Question 18

شَرِّ

Answer 18

(the) evil

Question 19

ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ

Answer 19

(of) the blowers

Question 20

فِى

Answer 20

in

Question 21

ٱلعُقَد

Answer 21

the knots

Question 22

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلعُقَد

Answer 22

And from the evil of the blowers in knots

Contre le mal de celles qui soufflent [les sorcières] sur les nœuds,

Question 23

وَمِن

Answer 23

and from

Question 24

شَرِّ

Answer 24

(the) evil

Question 25

حَاسِدٍ

Answer 25

(of) an envier

Question 26

إِذَا

Answer 26

when

Question 27

حَسَد

Answer 27

he envies

Question 28

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَد

Answer 28

And from the evil of an envier when he envies.'' Et contre le mal de l’envieux quand il envie. »
