تَبَّت
perish
يَدَآ
(the) hands
أَبِي
(of) Abu
لَهَبٍ
Lahab
وَتَبّ
and perish he
تَبَّت يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبّ
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he
Que périssent les deux mains d’Abû-Lahab et que lui-même périsse
مَآ
not
أَغنَىٰ
(will) avail
عَنهُ
him
مَالُهُۥ
his wealth
وَمَا
and what
كَسَب
he earned
مَآ أَغنَىٰ عَنهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَب
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained
Sa fortune ne lui sert à rien, ni ce qu’il a acquis
سَيَصلَىٰ
he will be burnt
نَارًا
(in) a fire
ذَاتَ
of
لَهَب
blazing flames
سَيَصلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَب
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
Il sera brûlé dans un Feu plein de flammes
وَٱمرَأَتُهُۥ
and his wife
حَمَّالَةَ
(the) carrier
ٱلحَطَب
(of) firewood
وَٱمرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلحَطَب
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood
De même sa femme, la porteuse de bois
فِي
around
جِيدِهَا
her neck
حَبلٌ
(will be) a rope
مِّن
of
مَّسَد
palm-fiber
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
À son cou, une corde de fibres.
