Say, ‘‘O disbelievers,
Dis: « O vous les infidèles !

لَآ

أَعبُدُ

I worship

مَا
A
what

Q
تَعبُدُون
A
you worship
9
Q
لَآ أَعبُدُ مَا تَعبُدُون
A
I do not worship what you worship.
Je n’adore pas ce que vous adorez.

Q
وَلَآ
A
and not

Q
أَنتُم
A
you
11
Q
عَـٰبِدُونَ
A
(are) worshippers

Q
مَآ
A
(of) what

Q
أَعبُد
A
I worship
14
Q
وَلَآ أَنتُم عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعبُد
A
Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.
Et vous n’êtes pas adorateurs de ce que j’adore.

أَنَا۠

I am

عَابِدٌ
A
a worshipper

مَّا
A
(of) what

Q
عَبَدتُّم
A
you worship

Q
وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّم
A
Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.
Je ne suis pas adorateur de ce que vous adorez.

وَلَآ
A
and not

أَنتُم
A
you are

Q
عَـٰبِدُونَ
A
worshippers

مَآ
(of) what
25
أَعبُد
I worship
26
وَلَآ أَنتُم عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعبُد
Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.
Et vous n’êtes pas adorateurs de ce que j’adore.

لَكُم
for you
28
دِينُكُم
(is) your religion
29
وَلِىَ
and for me
30
دِين
(is) my religion
31
لَكُم دِينُكُم وَلِىَ دِين
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.''
À vous votre religion, et à moi ma religion. »
