وَيلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَة

Answer 5

Woe to every scorner and mocker

Malheur à tout calomniateur diffamateur,

الَّذِي

مَالًا

وَعَدَّدَه

and counts it

Question 10

الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَه

Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.

Qui amasse une fortune et la compte,

Question 11

يَحسَبُ

أَنَّ

مَالَهُ

his wealth

أَخلَدَه

Answer 14

will make him immortal

Question 15

يَحسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخلَدَه

He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.

Pensant que sa fortune l’immortalisera.

كَلَّا

nay !

لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ

surely he will be thrown

ٱلحُطَمَة

the Crusher

كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلحُطَمَة

Answer 19

No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.

Mais non! Il sera certes, jeté dans la Hutamah.

وَمَآ

أَدرَىٰكَ

ٱلحُطَمَة

وَمَآ أَدرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلحُطَمَة

And what can make you know what is the Crusher ? Et qui te dira ce qu’est la Hutamah?

نَارُ

a fire

ٱللَّهِ

Answer 26

Allah

Question 27

ٱلمُوقَدَة

Answer 27

kindled

Question 28

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلمُوقَدَة

Answer 28

It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, Le Feu attisé d’Allah

ٱلَّتِى

تَطَّلِعُ

ٱلأَفـِٔدَة

ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلأَفـِٔدَة

Which mounts directed at the hearts. Qui monte jusqu’aux cœurs.

إِنَّهَا

indeed it

عَلَيهِم

Answer 35

(will be) upon them

مُّؤصَدَة

إِنَّهَا عَلَيهِم مُّؤصَدَة

Answer 37

Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them Il se refermera sur eux,
