WHY IS IT NOT POSSIBLE TO OPEN THE MAIN CABIN DOOR FROM THE INSIDE IF SOME CABIN PRESSURE REMAINS?
CABIN PRESSURE ENGAGES A PRESSURE LOCK LEVER CONNECTED TO THE VENT FLAP, AND PREVENTS MOVEMENT OF THE INNER DOOR HANDLE. AFTER CABIN PRESSURE IS RELEASED, SPRINGS ALLOW THE VENT FLAP TO OPEN, THE PRESSURE LOCK DISENGAGES AND THE DOOR HANDLES CAN OPERATE.
Under what conditions will you get a white (status) PASSENGER DOOR and or CARGO DOOR message?
The aircraft is on the ground, the passenger door and or cargo door(s) is open, and the LEFT engine run switch is in the OFF position.
** All other monitored doors will always be displayed as an AMBER CAS Caution message.
Under what conditions will you expect to see an amber caution PASSENGER DOOR CAS message?
- Aircraft is on the ground, the door is open and the LEFT engine RUN switch is in the RUN position.
- In flight, the passenger door rollers are not fully engaged into the fitting guides.

Aircraft is on the ground, cargo door is open, and the LEFT engine RUN switch is in RUN.
