soil preparation has 2 parts
- ploughing
2- leveling
why do we do ploughing and leveling?
in order to grow plants need- air, loosen soil, microbes, humus, air, clay, gravel
ploughing
ploughing by oxen or tractor
leveling
it is done with a wooden plank for uniform distribution of water
manures and fertilisers
fertilisers are the substance which improve the fertility of soil and help the plant to grow and synthesize more food

nitrogen fertilisers, phosphate fertilisers, potassium fertilisers
irrigation
water supply to farms other than rain is called irrigation. example- tube wells and rivers, sprinkelar system and drip system
weeding
weeds are the unwanted plants that grow along with the main crop and compete with them for sunlight, nutrients and water and weed removal is called weeding
harvesting
fully grown crops are cut and gathered by harvester or manually
storage
farmers store their crops after harvesting in different ways, and they dis-infect their crops before storage
animal husbandry
breeding and caring for farm animals
management of animals
food, planned breeding, control diseases
