Oliguria (<0.5mls/kg/hr)

Untreated pre-renal AKI leads to what condition?
Acute tubular necrosis
How is pre-renal AKI treated?
0.9% NaCl as a 250ml bolus, then reassess and repeat
What is a renal AKI?
Diseases causing inflammation or damage to kidney cells causing AKI

What are some symptoms of renal AKI?
Anorexia
Weight loss
Nausea and vomiting

Pulmonary oedema

U&Es (potassium) FBC Urinalysis USS Immunology
How is renal AKI treated?
Fluid resus
Treat underlying cause
Stop nephrotoxics
Dialysis
