Acts3 Flashcards
Describe the role of faith in the healing of the crippled man in Acts 3
Peter said silver and gold I do not have it what I have I give to you. He said this under the prompting of the Holy Spirit who had given him the gift of healing for this man.
In Acts 3 Peter said in the name of
Jesus Christ of NAzareth rise up and walk. Peter put his faith into action to both say what the Holy Spirit prompted him to say and be taking hold of the man’s right hand and lifting him up.
It is quite possible that the crippled man’s faith was stirred by
The mention of the name of Jesus Christ.
Because of Peter and the crippled man’s faith
God healed this man. His feet and ankle bones received strength, the shrunken useless muscles were made firm. He jumped up and began to walk.
Their faith was imparted by Jesus and it gave complete freedom from defect before their eyes.
