Any verb that is doing something
가다
To go = 가요

Can be used after a noun to create an action verb:
Noun + 하다 = Noun(을/를)하다 = “to do (Noun)”
있다
To exist = 있어요
Can be translated to say “Is”; “Am”; “Are” (when paired with the particle 에, showing where someone/something is located at)
Ex: __에 있어요.
Can also be used to say you ‘have’ something, but always literally means ‘to exist’.
공부(를)하다
To study = 공부(를)해요
숙제(를)하다
To do homework = 숙제(를)해요
말(을)하다
To speak = 말(을)해요
일(을)하다
To work = 일(을)해요
운동(을)하다
To exercise = 운동(을)해요
샤워(를)하다

Sometimes when a verb stem ends with the consonant ㄷ, about half of the time, that ㄷ will become a ㄹ when it’s conjugated. And this verb 듣다 is one such case.

To come (here) = 와요
기다리다
To wait = 기다려요
놀다
To hang out; To play = 놀아요
사다
To buy = 사요

To earn (money) = 벌어요

*Note that the verb 듣다 meaning ‘to listen’ is an exception, and it conjugates as 들어요.
The 디귿 (ㄷ) at the bottom becomes a 리을 (ㄹ) when conjugated in the informal form.
전화(가) 오다
‘Phone call comes’; ‘There is a phone call’; ‘I’m getting a call’ = 전화가 와요
‘There was a phone call’; ‘Telephone for you’; ‘You have a call’ = 전화가 왔어요
전화(를) 하다
To (make a phone) call = 전화(를) 해요
물어보다
To ask = 물어봐요
여행(을) 하다
To travel = 여행(을) 해요
