Any verb that is doing something
가다
To go = 가요
먹다
To eat = 먹어요
보다
To see = 봐요
수영하다
To swim = 수영해요
싶다
To want = 싶어요
나가다
To go out(side) = 나가요
가지다
To have; To carry with you = 가져요
원하다
To want (used to mean ‘to want something’) = 원해요
갖다
The shortened version of 가지다, “To have” = 갖아요
만들다
To make = 만들어요
배우다
To learn = 배워요
마시다
To drink = 마셔요
앉다
To sit down = 앉아요
보내다
To send = 보내요
쓰다
To use; To write = 써요
부르다
To sing; To call = 불러요
하다
To do = 해요
Can be used after a noun to create an action verb:
Noun + 하다 = Noun(을/를)하다 = “to do (Noun)”
있다
To exist = 있어요
Can be translated to say “Is”; “Am”; “Are” (when paired with the particle 에, showing where someone/something is located at)
Ex: __에 있어요.
Can also be used to say you ‘have’ something, but always literally means ‘to exist’.
공부(를)하다
To study = 공부(를)해요
숙제(를)하다
To do homework = 숙제(를)해요
말(을)하다
To speak = 말(을)해요
일(을)하다
To work = 일(을)해요
