It doesn’t matter how the goal is reached, if the performer succeeds they are satisfied, but they fail confidence is lowered
How can task related goals affect a performers motivation according to achievement goal theory
Task related goals are a process to success and measure against their own performance standard not other people’s so regardless of the outcome, confidence is maintained
