A

-increases the risk of bleeding with warfarin
- can increase hepatotoxicity
- use of NSAIDS increase risk for adverse renal affects

A

-take as directed

-avoid alcohol

-discontinue if you get a rash

-inform pt with diabetes that acetaminophen
may result in BG monitoring

-Dont take more than one product with acetaminophen

A

-Regular strength : 650mg every 4-6 hr
- Max 3250 mg in 24 hr
- Extra strength 1000mg every 6 hr ( Max of 3,000 in a day)
