Strength of rxn: weak or missing (age, immunosuppressed)
Additional rxn: acquired B (forward), Rouleaux (multiple myeloma, reverse), cold antibody (reverse), autoantibody (both), dilution (plasma exchange, massive tx)
Abnormal rxn: mixed field (recent tx with group O, bone marrow transplant)

Antibody coats patient RBC and agglutinates spontaneously

A
Subgroupd of A or B
Some leukemia’s, Hodgkin’s disease
Excess soluble A and B blood group substances caused by carcinoma of the stomach/pancreas
Age, immunosuppressed

Secondary to bowel obstruction or carcinoma of the bowel
