Why does Egeus not approve of Lysander?
I think Egeus honestly has a sort of man-crush on Demetrius, so he wants Demetrius to marry his daughter. He has convinced himself that Lysander is tricking Hermia into loving him so that she won’t marry Demetrius.
What mistake does Puck make with the love potion?
Puck accidentally gives the love potion to Lysander instead of Demetrius. Poor Helena has Lysander and Demetrius running after her and Hermia wakes up to find herself deserted.
Why are Oberon and Titania at odds with each other?
Titania is caring for an orphan boy from India whose mother died. His mother was Titania’s faithful servant, and Titania feels obligated to protect him. Oberon wants to make the boy a knight, but Titania doesn’t want him to be one.
