Below which visibility is RVR required to be reported (8.4.12)
An instrument approach shall not be conducted in less than 800m visibility unless RVR info is provided for runway intended.
(Not necessarily LVO, but good to remember)
And probably still culminating in Autoland.
If not LVO, but RVR 700M, be sure to tell ATC you’re doing Autoland.
Auto land recommended if less than:
300’ ceiling
1500m

Reported Vis CANNOT be used to get an equivalent RVR.
General LVO landing min to be set?
CAT 2 = 100 RA
Cat 3A = 50 RA
CAT 3B = 0 feet
(Beware of XW limits, especially using contaminated runway)

Can a command trainee do a LVO from left seat?
Yes, if PM captain is LVO qualified

LVO approaches shall be planned using ILS for a manual or auto land?
Auto land
(Basically if you’re setting below CAT 1 min, it’s an Autoland, so beware of any failures)
Can you do an Autoland with no Autothrottle?
Yes!
But not a CAT 3B
