A

No, because Christopher Columbus was not the first person to reach America. During the Ice Age a group of Asians came to America by crossing a land bridge that has now been destroyed. After that, around the year 1000, Viking a group of Vikings lead by Eric the red discovered America and then left 10 years later. So Christopher Columbus was actually third to reach America.
