Enterprise positions itself in terms of one or more outstanding attributes.
Benefit positioning
This method emphasises the unique benefits that the enterprise or product offering offers it’s customers
Use Application positioning
An enterprise can position itself or it’s products in terms of the application possibility.
User positioning
An enterprise can position itself or it’s products with it’s user in mind.
Competitor positioning
Some products can best be positioned against competitive offerings.
Product positioning
An enterprise can position itself in a product category, not traditionally associated with it, thereby expanding business opportunities.
Quality/ Price positioning
The enterprise may claim its product is of exceptional quality or lowest price.
