S - specific = clear + precise to performer
M - measurable = must be quantifiable so can be assessed
A - achievable = able to achieve within time given
R - realistic = within performers reach to ensure motivation
T - timebound = time period must be clear
E - evaluate = coach + performer able to evaluate how + when goal was achieved
R - redo = if not achieved then do again
