The BSI defines inclusive design as:
- The design of mainstream products or services that are accessible to and useable by as many people as reasonably possible, without the need for special adaptation

A
- Updated standards for new houses being built. Doors must be wide enough for wheelchairs
- Pedestrian crossings have raised pavement bumps, ramps and other sensory feedback
- Buses have lower floors for wheelchairs, and bright yellow, highly visible handrails
