What is user centred design?
A
Aims to improve users’ experience when using products
Follows the ISO 13407, to make the product more sucessful

What should an ISO 13407 compliant product be?
A
- Take full account of users, the task being performed and the environment it will be used in
- Involve users during design and development
- Be refined using user-centred evaluation
- Result from an iterative design process
- Consider the whole user experience
- Use a team of peope with a range of skills/ specialties, such as:
product designers, engineers, ergonomists, marketing specialists, industrial specialists

- Apply ergonomics for ease and comfort
- Use anthropometric data for a good fit
- Observe people using products
- Make focus groups to identify issues with existing products
