- Hairs on outside of larvae can cause intestinal trauma, dermatitis and allergic reaction

- Whole lot must be condemned dead or alive
Saw-toothed Grain Beetle
-Most commonly found store product pest aboard ship
- Thorax bears 6 saw-toothed projections on each side
Rice Weevil
-Most destructive store product pests.
- 2 yellow/red spots on top of each wing

Less than 7 beetles per pound
Two weeks at 0F is required to kill all stages of insects
