A
- make sure cables are connected
- check input selection on monitor: HDMI, DVI, VGA, etc

Physical cabling issue
A
- check for loose connections
- replace any bad cables
- check cable pins

A
- replace the light bulb

Fuzzy image
A
- change display resolution
- native resolution looks best

Display burn-in
A
- images that are left on an LCD screen for long periods of time will “burn” into the display
- some displays have pixel shift (slightly moves pixels to prevent burn-in)
- “clean” the screen by displaying a white image for an extended period of time

Dead pixels
A
- pixel(s) always stays black
- manufacturing defect
- no way to fix a dead pixel, whole monitor must be replaced

Flashing screen
A
- check for loose cables
- replace the video cables
- monitor may be broken; try a different monitor
- check the display settings in the OS

- check monitor settings for tint or custom color presets
- factor reset settings
- check driver configuration
- some OS have “night shift” which lowers blue light output
