A

Listening is not just hearing something, for the data to be useful the listener has to intentionally, deliberately and purposefully listen. This is known as active listening.

A

Primary information - Eyewitness accounts,
Creative works e.g. poetry, art.
Secondary - Media types (radio, TV, newspapers, internet, etc.)
Tertiary - index and/or textual condensation of primary and secondary sources.
