PURPOSE
To provide for the safety of JFRD personnel by providing clear guidelines for rehabilitation and documentation at emergency incidents.
GENERAL
Members shall undergo rehabilitation and rest for a minimum of ____ minutes following the complete use of a single ___ minute self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) or ___ minutes of ____ work ___ SCBA. The Rehab Officer (normally the Rescue Chief) shall be responsible for the following:
• Maintain communication with the Incident Commander (IC).
• Request through ____ extra Rehab supplies or personnel as needed
• FRCC will dispatch a unit to pick up and deliver the requested supplies to the Rehab Area when directed by the ___ or Rehab Officer
• Establish Rehab Area.
• ____ and at a ___ level to avoid contact with contaminated ____
• Clear of smoke, haze, or other potentially hazardous conditions
• Close enough to be utilized efficiently

REHAB UNIT OPERATOR
Upon arrival at the scene:
• Locate ___ ____ as directed by the Rehab Officer.
• Shut off the engine of the Rehab Unit to prevent ____ contamination of the Rehab Area.
• Assist with setting up the Rehab Area and performing rehab procedures as directed by the ___ ___.
PERSONNEL ENTERING REHAB
Upon arrival at the Rehab Area, ____ permitting, individuals will remove their SCBA, helmet, gloves, and bunker coat and leave them outside of the designated area.
All personnel shall enter and leave Rehab as a ____.
