PURPOSE
To define situations in which J.F.R.D. should request a State Fire Marshal.
DETERMINING NEED
State Fire Marshal
The ____ ____ of the fire scene will request the State Fire Marshal when any of the following conditions exist:
• Any fire with a projected dollar loss exceeding$_____; or
• Any fire involving a civilian death, or an injury that is likely to result in death; or

• Any fire involving the suspected failure of a fire ___ or fire _____ system; or
• Suspected arson fires in structures or vehicles
• Suspected arson in vehicle fires in which there is obvious evidence at the scene or a witness(s) to the event

He/she will document the JSO ___# and the address of the location where the vehicle will be towed. All requests for the State Fire Marshal should be made via F.R.C.C.
