What is cognitive behavioural therapy?
Cognitive behavioural therapy is changing the thought processes of the individual.
This is because offenders have a distorted ‘cognition’
What is aggressive replacement therapy?
Aggressive replacement therapy is a therapy where it aims to reduce the violent and aggressive thoughts.
List 3 examples of what could happen at aggressive retail therapy.

2)Interpersonal skills

What are the good things about CBT/ART?
CBT is based on sciencetific research.
Shows to be effective in changing thoughts and behaviours
What are the bad things about CBT/ART?
It is not effective for all criminals. This is because some are aware of their criminal behaviours + thoughts and aren’t willingly wanting to change.
