- share views and opinions
- find ways to work together
Define and explain the World Council of Churches?
A global organization that pursues reconciliation and peace in the world by:
- organizing days of prayer
- campaigning for peace and human rights
- speaking out against oppression and terrorism
- supporting missionaries
- providing help to those in need
Define persecution
Persecution is the ill-treatment of an individual or group, usually because of their religion, politics, or ethnicity.
Describe persecution felt by Christians
Christians are persecuted in many countries today, particularly in countries where Christianity is a minority religion, such as China, North Korea, and India.
