The Lord’s Prayer- SOW

A
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one” (Matthew 6: 9-13 /NIV)

Q

Explain the Lord’s Prayer?

A

The Lord’s Prayer is a set prayer that Jesus taught to his followers.

The start of the prayer praises God and looks forward to a time when he will be fully accepted by everyone on earth.

The second half of the prayer asks God for three things: the basics needed to survive,
forgiveness, and the strength to resist evil.
