What is the purpose of family in Christianity?
- Procreation
- Education
- Security/Stability
Why is procreation important in Christianity?
Procreation (producing children) is an important purpose of Christian marriage.
Children are considered to be a gift from God.
Why is education important in Christianity?
The Christian family is where children learn how to live, form relationships, and worship God.
Children are taught to respect and obey their parents.
Christian parents usually bring their children up within their faith.
Sunday school and church youth groups help with this

Why is security important in Christianity?
-The family provides a safe, stable environment in which to bring up
children.
-Christians believe that all children should have this security. They may support charities that help vulnerable children, such as The Children’s Society or Action for Children.
