A divorce is the legal ending of a marriage.

In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus appears to allow divorce in cases of unfaithfulness: “anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery”
(Matthew 19: 9)
What are the Catholic views on divorce?
No, they disagree with Divorce. The marriage vows are a covenant (agreement) made before God, so cannot be broken.
