Used for databases, containing separate tables for different types of information eg store customer records and orders.

This aids understanding of data by presenting it in a visual manner eg charts and graphs - much easier to spot patterns and trends.

A
Similar to visualisation for example using graphs to show the trend in sales over a set period.

The process of removing errors, inconsistencies and out of date data to improve the quality of the data.

A
The ability to track the location of staff/products being shipped around the world.
