Aggression used to:

• defend territory
• Compete for dominance + mates
• Protect offspring
• War (organised Intra-species violence)

- social and learning approaches (role models)

implications

• Could be possible to screen boys for warrior gene + give extra support at school

have to talk about nurture too, would make sense aggression is in poorer countries but then link it back to nature, if it is only nature we can screen people.
