The heart
1) Deox blood to right atrium via vena cava
2) blood pumps through tricuspid valve to right ventricle
3) right ventricle to pulmonary artery where it goes to lungs for re-ox
4) ox blood returns to left atrium through pulmonary vein, then to left ventricle through mitral valve
5) blood is pumped into aorta and to rest of body
Function of the trachea?
Carries air in and out of lungs
Tube is stiff and flexible so is reliable way of oxygen to get into body
Function of the alveoli
Gaseous exchange - lungs and blood exchange oxygen and CO2 when you breath in and out

Preserve life, prevent condition worsening, promote recovery until help arrives
