Source
A
- derived from plant cellulose(main source: wood pulp, usually eucalyptus)
- manufacture: closed loop system - all waste can be re-used in the production process
- made with resin and chemicals
- forest -> wood -> pulp -> fibre
- spun fibre: consists of many fibrils(microscopic fibres)
- fibrils inside fibres can be split: allows fabrics to be manufactured in a variety of appearances and specific end uses
