Leukemia (first aid) and difference between acute and chronic?
A
Lymphoid or myeloid neoplasms of WBCs with widespread involvement of bone marrow. Tumor cells are usually found in peripheral blood.
acute - progenitor cells (AML, ALL), more aggressive
chronic - mature cells (CML, CLL), less aggresive

Lymphoma (first aid)
A
Discrete tumor masses arising from lymph nodes. Presentations often blur definitions (ie may be in BM).

hematopoiesis for lymphoid cells? myeloid cells?
A
HSC –> common lymphoid progenitor –> NK, T, B cells
HSC –> common myeloid progenitor –> RBCs, platelets, mast cells, PMNs, etc
