What are the 5 Normal Law protections?

Flight controls - What is the pitch control ground mode?
Sets the THS to 0.
In normal law what g load is pitch limited to?
1g
What happens during flare mode?
Passing 50RA THS is frozen and changes to flare mode
What rate of nose down does the aircraft provide in flare mode?
2 degrees nose down over 8 seconds
What is the load factor protection values?
+2.5 g to -1g clean
+2 g to 0g other configs
What are the pitch protections?
30 degrees nose up in config 0-3
25 degrees nose up in config FULL
15 degrees nose down
When does high AoA protection activate?
When AoA become greater than Alpha PROT
What is the lowest speed that can be flown in normal law?
Alpha Max
What is the normal bank angle limit?
67 degrees
What is the max bank angle if High Speed protection is active?
40 degrees
What high speed does the autopilot disconnect?
VMO + 15 kts
What speed are the high speed bars at?
VMO + 6 kts
How does the high speed protection work?
As speed increases above VMO a nose up order is applied.
What bank angle is the max that the aircraft will maintain?
33 degrees
What is the max bank angle with pilot maintaining the input?
67 degrees
In alternate law WITH reduced protections which protections are lost?
AoA protection replaced by low speed stability
High speed protection replaced by high speed stability
Alpha floor is inop
Bank angle protection lost
Pitch attitude protection is lost
What does Alt Law WITHOUT protections have?
Same as alternate law but no low or high speed stability.
What happens when high AoA is activated?
The side stick input becomes angle of attack demand rather than load factor demand

Load factor limitation
What is abnormal attitude law?
Law that engages to give pilot maximum authority to recover normal attitude.
What are the values that engage abnormal attitude law
125 degrees AoB
Speed below 60-90kts
Speed greater than 440kts or M0.91
AoA greater that 30-40 or less than -10
Which protection has priority over all other protections?
High angle of attack
What is the spiral static stability during high speed protection in comparison to normal law?
Bank angle stability reduced to 0 rather than 33 degrees
In normal law, once high AoA is activated what speed will the protection maintain without pilot input?
