What is the difference between stages 1 & 5 of demographic growth?
In stage 1 the numbers are very high and death rate is slightly lower. In stage 5 the numbers are low and death rate is slightly higher.
What does a developed populations growth look like?
The growth is very steady.
What does age structure mean?
The portion if the population and of each gender at each age level. Each age level represents age groups in increasing order.
What is one factor affecting growth rate?
The time between each generation. Smaller the higher growth is.
How can an age structure predict a population growth.
If it is slowly growing because the country is developed there is a good chance it will stay like that.
What are the resources like for developing nations?
The amount of resources used are small, but will start growing rapidly when there are more people or more resources to support them.
Is developing or a developed nation more harmful to the environment?
A developing one because there might not be enough resources to support that amount of growth.
