IBD
(common duct for pancrease and GB)
how to diagnose pancreatitis in dogs
non specific clinical signs: V, anorexia, abdominal pain, ∓ LI diarrhea, ↓BP, icterus, pleural effusion

pancreatic acinar cell atrophy
* immune mediated
* progresses as they get older
what causes exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in cats
chronic pancreatitis
clinical signs of EPI in dogs
weight loss
diarrhea- alot and fatty
very hungry
- german shepherd
- young adults
diagnosis of EPI is by
fasted TLI
cobalamin (Vit B12) also prob low cause pancreas makes intrisic factor needed to absorb it
how to treat EPI
pancreatic enzyme supplementation
* long term
* can be $$
* Vit B12 can also help
