A
  1. Stretch a long tape (TRANSECT LINE) across the area.
  2. Place QUADRAT on ground RANDOMLY
  3. COUNT number of individual plants of ONE SPECIES
  4. REPEAT 2
  5. WORK out MEAN no of PLANTS & show as no of plants per 1m2
  6. Measure the WHOLE HABITAT
  7. Multiply no of plants in 1m2 by the WHOLE AREA
