2- Creation Flashcards
In the beginning of all things, when God was creating the heavens and the earth, the earth had no shape and it was empty. Darkness covered the surface of the deep waters. The spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light.” And it was so. God separated the light from the darkness. He called the light, “Day,” and he called the darkness, “Night.” And God saw that it was good. The evening passed the morning came, that was the first day.

Then God said, “Let the land be covered with all the beautiful trees and every kind of green plant that is good to eat.” And God blessed them so that they would multiply after their kind. And God saw that it was good. The evening passed and the morning came, that was the third day.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our own image, let us give them dominion over all of creation.” So God made man male and female, commanded him to rule over all creation. And God blessed them so that they would multiply and fill the earth. And God gave to them every green plant for food. And God saw that it was very good.
