why do we watch Russia CBRNE?missle technology closlely
b/c exports and supplies
what can we do after lethal agents are released into the enviornment
onc elethal agents are releastred, there are basic factors taht impact prediction on where those agents will go and how long their affects will last
what dos China give to our adversaries
china is a source of missle=related technology
what does Russia give to our adversaries
experts ballistic missiles/nucelar technology
A.W Khan
is a great example of suppply and demand ecoomics driving proliferation

why do our advarsaries pair chem and explosive agents
put a chemical agent inside a explosive, protects it fronnt he enviornemtn and maints its lethality up to the point of release
who was Walter Reed
Walter Rwes came up with a treatment for yellow fever eradication in Panama
RDD
radiologic dispersal device>
combo explosive and radioactive

types of chemical agents
nerve, blood, blister, choke, omign, incapaciting
4 types of nucelar blasts
thermal
EMP
blast, radiatio
everyday risk of RDD
radiological isotopes for routine welding, food sterlization, and treatment of diseases can lead to RDD materials getting into wrong hands

persistency
charactristic of a chemica agent to exist when release into the envornment
characteristic of a chemical agent to exist when released into the enviornment
persistency
problem of the ingredients of CBRNE
more than 100 countries have the capability to produce simple chem weaons and since material cna be used to make normal products, it is difficult to differentiate legit from nonlegit use
what do choking agents do
pulmonary asphyxiation
fluid lin loungs
phosogene
how do blood agents work
cyandide derivatives prevents normal utilization of oxygen by
examples of blood agents
hydrogen cyanide or clhlorine
how does cyanide hurt your
prevents normal utilization of oxygen
s/s of blood ganets
dizzy, LOC, convulsions
how do blister agents hurt you
interferes w/transmission of nerve impulses leading to vomit, twitch, drwosy, coma
exmaples of blister agents
taburn, sarin, soman, vx
non-nefarious use for chlorine
